Feb Lodge Meeting NOTE LATER TIME!!!

This will be a social-only "Chaverschaft" Lodge - NO Open Lodge, just Table lodge and a speaker PLUS the - raffle drawing (Deadline for raffle sales was 2-1-2019).  The speaker will begin at 8.15pm.  Attendance at this lodge does count towards one's seven candles for the first degree.

Kosher dessert and drinks will be provided.

Wives will be most welcome to attend.

Our Speaker at Table Lodge will be Jerome Pokroy, speaking about personal self defense.

Jerome is a black belt in Krav Maga and has trained in various martial arts and self defense systems for over 47 years. He also holds black belts in Judo, Jeet Kune Do, and Scientific Fighting Congress. Jerome is also a certified coach in Fear & Adrenal Stress Training (F.A.S.T.). Jerome has also been competing in combat sports since the age of 5.

• He was the South African Judo Champion in 1976.
• He was the Provincial Judo Champion in South Africa from 1975 to 1986.
• He placed fourth in the U.S.A. Judo Masters Competition in 2006.
• He placed second in the Houston Open Master Judo Championship in 2009,
• At the age of 50 he placed 3rd in the Houston Open Masters Judo Championship in 2016.

A former attorney from South Africa, Jerome is the director of insurance at TLC Wealth Management, teaches Krav Maga at the ERJCC and is the founder of SWIFT.

As a SWIFT instructor he provides personal instruction in Safety, Wellness & Fitness strategies.

There is a common theme that you may have picked up on … Jerome’s passion has always been about PROTECTION! Jerome enjoys the opportunity to teach others both physical and financial self-defense and he is here today to tell us a bit more.
