  Spouses, girlfriends, potential new members and guests are invited to join us with blood donations and inner. Please include them in your RSVP.
  

  The dress code is casual.

  Please come & get to know all of your brethren, wives and family.

  Review Committees and consider participating in more of the Lodge activities.

  When:  Wednesday December 25, 2024  at  2:45 pm  SHARP so please be there  early. FYI: There will be a free concert starting at 2:15 pm that our members are welcome to attend prior to the EARLY candle lighting ceremony. Entertainment will be by Cantor Dorf who is part of a group called the Quarantets and they will be playing music at 2:30 onward. Her husband, Rabbi Morgen (aka Bro. Steve Morgen) will accompany the group.  EVENT DETAILS: HOD will join other local community organizations including JWV's Levy Post 574 as we light candles to observe the 1st night of Chanukah with residents and their families at Seven Acres & The Medallion. Please wear your HOD shirt &/or kippah or baseball cap so that we can be recognized as a group. We hope to have a great turn out.   Yom Limmud Sunday February 16, 2025  9 AM – 3:30 PM

  

  Please wear your HOD polo or button down white shirt!

  Lodge Galil will have a table in the large room (the one with vendors and food) so we need Brethren to help man the table.  Schmooze with fellow Brethren, help recruit new members and share your positive experiences about HOD. We will also be fundraising for the Gravestone project.

  Would you like to help the Jewish community with this event ?  Volunteers are needed to assist with numerous tasks. Duties include helping with registration, directional guide, and more. Shifts are in 2 to 4 hour blocks.

  A Day of Jewish Learning for All Ages in HOUSTON.

  • This year marks the 31st Anniversary of Yom Limmud, Day of Learning. Thanks to the insights of Shirley Barish^z'l' and Elaine Kellerman, Yom Limmud has been a gathering place for Jewish learning as well as a space for discovery, inspiration, creativity, and fun for our entire Jewish community.
