Topic: Pro-Israel-America Relationship

Jeff Mendelsohn has spent the past 25 years in Washington, D.C. in government, advocacy and politics, dedicating his career in recent years to strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship. 

Last year, Jeff co-founded Pro-Israel America to mobilize grassroots activists from across the country to help elect pro-Israel candidates to Congress on both sides of the aisle.  As Pro-Israel America’s Executive Director, Jeff comments publicly on political and policy issues, builds relationships with pro-Israel candidates, and leads campaigns to grow the organization’s membership, activism and political engagement across the country. 

Jeff previously served for more than a decade as national outreach director at AIPAC, where he launched the American lobby’s strategic engagement with non-Jewish constituencies. Prior to AIPAC, Jeff served as chief of staff to two Latino congressmen from his hometown of San Antonio, Texas, Frank Tejeda and Ciro Rodriguez. He began his career as a litigation attorney at Arnold & Porter’s New York office.

Jeff graduated with honors from Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and currently lives in Washington, DC with his wife, a researcher at NIH, and two of their three children who work in the DC area; their oldest daughter made Aliyah and lives in Tel Aviv.
