HOD Lodge Galil - Volunteers at Aishel House - 7/4/2021 SUNDAY "Food for Friends Volunteer Program"

We are needed again.  Sunday 7-4-2021.

Volunteer from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Please wear a shirt with the American Flag or a plain Red, White or Blue shirt/T-Shirt and your HOD baseball Cap.

Aishel House has opened up their Volunteer program and HOD will start the post Covid regular Food from Friends Mitzvah Sunday by preparing soup and food for the residents on the 4th July.

Members have been encouraged to wear Red, White and Blue to Honor the USA holiday - and bring you family and/or friends and prospective new members.

‘Food for Friends program’.  Volunteer groups prepare a kosher vegetarian menu of a fresh lunch or dinner (e.g. a vegetarian soup, bread and a baked dessert). The program runs approximately, 2 hours.

Food for Friends is a tangible way to bring comfort and joy to patients and their families. HOD Lodge Galil looks forward to participating and including our group in this unique mitzvah!

This is a great family opportunity so when you register please let us know how many besides you will be participating. Please register ASAP. When you RSVP, do not type in a number unless you are bringing a guest and if you are bringing one or more guests do NOT include yourself as the system automatically always includes you.
