Our Informal Open Lodge Meeting will be held at the ERJCC Thursday, January 16 at 7:00 pm, followed by a guest speaker, Brother Harold Minkowitz.
Please arrive around 6:30 pm for a cocktail.
Spouses, guests and potential new member are welcome at 8:00 pm.
Beverages and snacks will be provided.
Dress code is casual.
Long time HOD Galil Brother and world renown enrichment speaker, Dr. Harold Minkowitz will be speaking at Table Lodge. His topic will be “A Peek Behind the Scenes in the Operating Room”, which has enthralled audiences internationally.
Dr. Minkowitz hails from Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed his medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg. After receiving his Fellowship in the Faculty of Anesthesiologists in South Africa, he relocated to the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Here he worked as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
He completed his Board Certification with the American Board of Anesthesiologists, and in 1998 joined practice at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center where he maintains active staff status.
In addition to full time practice, Dr Minkowitz also enjoys clinical research, and works with a dedicated clinical research team to improve peri-operative care for patients. He is also working with the nursing staff at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center in order to foster and enhance clinical research at all levels of the hospital.
