We are excited to host Jimmy Goldman of Operation Benjamin as our guest speaker.
Guest speaker will begin at 7:30 PM.
Come early from 6:30 PM for a chaverschaft drink with your Brethren/wives/partners/potential brethren.
Kosher snacks and drinks will be provided.
Dress: Casual, HOD polo shirts preferred. Wives, partners and potential brethren are welcome for the whole event.
Operation Benjamin, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring Jewish American soldiers from World War II who were mistakenly buried under Christian markers in U.S. military cemeteries worldwide. Named after Private Benjamin Garadetsky, a Jewish soldier buried under a cross at the Normandy American Cemetery in France, the project identifies and corrects these errors by replacing headstones with Star of David markers. It collaborates with the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) to ensure accurate representation of soldiers' religious heritage, often decades after their deaths.
