Connect with unique Jewish Stories and Culture from around the globe through music, art, cooking, and general education.

Presentations/Classes from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

HOD volunteers NEEDED to man our table starting at 8:15 am till 3 pm. (Especially busy around lunchtime.)


Wear your HOD polo or white shirt!


Lodge Galil will have a table in the large room (the one with vendors and food) so we need Brethren to help man the table.  Schmooze with fellow Brethren, help recruit new members and share your positive experiences about HOD. We will also be fundraising for the Gravestone and Nat Levy Scholarship projects.

ALSO:

Would you like to help the Jewish community with this event ?  Volunteers are needed to assist with numerous tasks. Duties include helping with registration, directional guide, and more. Shifts are in 2 to 4 hour blocks.

Yom Limmud (Day of Learning) provides a unique opportunity for Jews from all denominations and walks of life to connect with unique Jewish stories and culture from around the globe through music, art, cooking, and general education.

Event Description

Back in-person, Yom Limmud’s program is all about learning ‘outside the box!’ Featured this year is actress and singer Lainie Kazan of Broadway and My Big Fat Greek Wedding fame.

Plus, our first ever Yom Limmud bus tours showcasing art in Houston or Eastern Religions

Cost:

$18 per person (lunch is included)

$25 at the door

$40 for the bus tour (if signing up for the bus tour do not sign up for the Yom Limmud registration, it is included).
