12 of our Bro's helped us brighten the days of the residents of Goldberg B'nai Brith Towers by singing and delivering  hametashen and pizza to celebrate Purim!!

Mishloach Manot will be distributed on Thursday/Purim.

        

The HOD Houston Federation Raffle is complete, with ticket # 91 drawn on Feb 19, 2019.  We look forward to working with the winner to schedule his trip to Israel!!  Thanks to all who bought tickets and watch this space for our final donations to Houston Hebrew Free Loan Association (presentation pictured below) and Zichron Menachem.

HOD helps light the 5th Candle at 7 Acres Jewish Senior Care facility and Presents a gift of First Aid kits. 

Following the event, some members did a Mitzvah by attending Shiva for a non-member who needed to make a Minyan for his brother.

Gilad Katz - Consul General  of Israel in Houston

Members and guests thoroughly enjoyed hearing behind-the-scenes working experiences that Consul-General Katz has had while working in the Israeli government and with many prominent people.     

He is an eloquent speaker and encouraged questions - even those with a different point of view than he has. 

American Flag waves up high on Veterans Day 11-11-2018 while HOB members help BBQ at Friendship Circle Walk.

The final count for those who gave blood at our event was 21 and included numerous spouses and one family even had some adult family members donating. Special thanks to guest Scott Gardner for donating all of the Kosher Meats for our BBQ Event. More details to follow ASAP.
